MAGLEV1 - MAGNETIC LEWITATION - PRINTED PLATE
Magnetic levitation relies on the floating of a metal object in the air. This is possible thanks to the magnetic field invisible to the human eye. One of the most important elements of a device that demonstrates this type of phenomenon is a system that allows to keep the levitating body in a specific, fixed position. In AVT 2741/1 , laser light creates a barrier partially obscured by a levitating object. The remaining part of the beam reaches the photoelement, in which an electrical signal is generated proportional to the intensity of light. As a result of its reinforcement and appropriate shape, information about the location of the object is obtained. It directly affects the operation of the electromagnet controller.
