LED STROBOSCOPE - A SELF-ASSEMBLY KIT
The discharge lamp, which until recently was the 'heart' of stroboscopes, is slowly coming out of use. Its basic disadvantages are low durability and the need for high voltage power supply. These inconveniences are deprived of high-power LEDs, which are increasingly available. They can produce flashes of high brightness without any problems, and their durability (when properly cooled) is estimated at at least 50,000 hours.
Diodes from the Luxeon K2 family also have a high luminous flux - its value reaches 140 lumens. Current consumption by this type of elements is about 0.7 - 1A, thanks to which a simple system is enough to control.
In the presented kit, the PSoC microcontroller plays the role of the power supply stabilizer and the flash generator. Its use has made it possible to easily implement all analogue and digital stroboscope elements, making the device very easy to assemble and start up.
The device is especially recommended for lovers of light effects and discos
