The time and date display module on the TV screen has been developed for the CCTV system. The characters are generated on the OSD principle, i.e. imposed on the image. The use of a specialized integrated circuit has allowed to minimize the size of the system - the board has dimensions 58x46 mm. A bank of 128 characters is available in the generator. It includes Arabic numerals, uppercase and lowercase letters, punctuation marks and many interesting graphic symbols. The displayed characters are generated in a 12x18 pixel matrix. The generator is built-in directly to the video channel, without the need for additional electronic keys.
