Analogue soldering stations for temperature control use on / off binary systems. In this type of solutions, the temperature can oscillate around the set value even by several dozen degrees. If we want precise temperature stabilization, use the continuous control algorithm to control the heater. It is characterized by smoothly adjustable heater power - depending on the temperature.
The presented putty uses the PID (proportional-integral-derivative) algorithm. The clear LCD display presents all settings and allows you to control the operation of the device. The thermocouple type K was used as the temperature sensor. The soldering station is controlled by the ATmega8 microprocessor, to which the software was written using the GCC compiler.
The device is especially recommended in amateur electronics workshops and on the website
