A universal miniature converter that mediates data exchange between a PC equipped with a USB port and any digital system equipped with UART.

Basic information:

  • integrated USB converter <-> UART (FT230X)
  • TTL interface compatible with standard UART (Tx and Rx lines)
  • cooperation with digital systems supplied with 3.3V voltage
  • data transfer speed: 300 bd.3 Mbd, 512 B buffer Rx / 512 B Tx buffer.
  • support for 7/8 data bits, 1/2 stop bits, parity mark or none
  • bidirectional, asynchronous data transmission
  • compliance with UHCI / OHCI / EHCI
  • cooperation with USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 interfaces (in Full Speed mode - 12 Mb / s)
  • the ability to specify and store USB VID, PID and serial number in the EEPROM memory
  • drivers for Windows, MAC-OS and Linux
  • power from the USB port
