About the book

The book discusses all the basic issues related to programming NC / CNC machine tools. The basics of programming, the so-called manual programming, program structure, program line construction, automatic programming (in CAD / CAM systems) and workshop (WOP). General information about numerical control, its types, equipment of NC / CNC machine tools and examples of various systems supporting OSN programming were given. A lot of attention was given to programming examples in the form of a detailed discussion of the most commonly used systems, such as: MasterCAM, GTJ-2000 or KSPF / WIN.
The book is intended for students of the following faculties: mechanics and mechanical engineering as well as automation and robotics of technical universities, as well as for engineers and technicians working in plants operating numerically controlled machine tools.
