Description

DMM Shield: 7-Function Digital Multimeter is an expansion board with the functionality of a digital multimeter. It is a 5 1/2 digit digital multimeter, with equipment designed for use with selected Arduino boards, Digilent's microcontroller line, such as Uno32 ™, uC32 ™, WF32 ™ or Max32 ™ and FPGA boards that are equipped with an Arduino connector such as Arty A7, Arty Z7-10, Arty Z7-20 or Arty S7. The libraries were prepared for Uno32 ™, uC32 ™, WF32 ™, Max32 ™, Arty Z7-20, Arduino Uno, Arduino Due and Arduino Mega. The board is built on the basis of HY3131 module from Hycon Technology, which is a dedicated DMM analogue system. The device has 7 measuring functions and is factory calibrated. It can be used with a compatible line of tiles. Complete with libraries for FPGA chips and microcontrollers, DMM can be integrated with projects and communicate via the SPI protocol.

Access to data from DMM is obtained via a custom SPI interface using digital I / O pins on the board connector.
