Prusa Nozzle Brass CHT 0.4mm is used in Original Prusa FDM 3D printers equipped with the Nextruder hotend. The CHT (Core Heating Technology) design incorporates a modified internal channel in which the filament is divided into multiple streams, increasing the heat transfer surface prior to extrusion. This solution enables higher filament flow while maintaining a 0.4mm orifice diameter. The brass construction ensures stable thermal conductivity when working with standard thermoplastic filaments such as PLA, PETG, and ABS.
