Laser distance sensor with a measuring range from 0.1 m to 15 m. It uses a wavelength of 750-830 nm and the Time of Flight (ToF) technology, which means that the sensor periodically transmits a beam of infrared rays that reflect from the object . It then measures the time of flight from the phase difference and obtains the range between the device and the detected object.
The sensor is supplied with the voltage from 3.7 to 5.2 V, has a housing with mounting holes and uses UART and I2C communication interfaces. The sensor can work with a very high resolution of 1 cm and an accuracy of ± 2 cm and the frequency of measurements up to 50 Hz. In addition, it is characterized by a narrow measuring angle FoV 1-2 °, which allows for precise point measurements. It is used in robotics as a measurement sensor in drones and mobile robots. Full documentation and examples of use are available on the product page.
