Description

NFC/RFID tag equipped with ST25DV64KC NFC/RFID tag from STMicroelectronics. The chip offers a 64kbit (8kbyte) EEPROM that can be accessed via both I2C and RF (NFC). The tag is ISO/IEC 15693 or NFC Forum Type 5 compliant. It has a general purpose output that acts as an external interrupt to report events such as RF field changes, RF activity, I2C write and RF switches. It has a supply voltage range of 1.8 V to 5.5 V. It supports fast transfer mode to transfer the contents of a 256-byte buffer between a device connected to the tag via I2C and an RF device such as a reader or smartphone. This allows you to store data on the tag and make it readable by an RF device by placing it within RF reading range even when the tag is turned off. Data can also be protected with a 64-bit password. The included Arduino library provides support for reading and writing user memory, controlling read and writing permissions, resizing an area, and applying password controls. The module can work with the "NFC Tap" application by ST, available in the Apple App Store and Google Play. Android users can also use NFC wakdev tool. Full documentation with examples of use are available on the product page.
