Versatile 9DOF sensor with accelerometer, magnetometer and gyroscope, supporting I²C and SPI interfaces, enabling precise measurement of motion, orientation and temperature, with easy integration with Arduino and microcontrollers. Adafruit 3387
Adafruit module with the LSM9DS1 9DOF sensor, which integrates a 3-axis accelerometer, magnetometer and gyroscope, enabling accurate measurement of movement, orientation and direction in space. It can be used to determine acceleration, orientation to the Earth's magnetic field and rotational movement. Additionally, the sensor has a temperature measurement function.
The LSM9DS1 is a newer version of the popular LSM9DS0, differing from its predecessor in measurement ranges. The accelerometer supports ranges of ±2/±4/±8/±16 g, the magnetometer ±4/±8/±12/±16 gauss, and the gyroscope ±245/±500/±2000 dps. The sensor communicates via I²C or SPI, which allows easy integration with Arduino and other platforms.
The module is equipped with a voltage regulator and logic signal leveling, so it can work with voltages of 3.3 V and 5 V. Additional mounting holes make installation easier, and the signal pins are arranged in a way that ensures convenient connection. Adafruit provides libraries for Arduino and CircuitPython, which make it easier to use the module.
