Description
Prusament TPU 95A Lipstick Red 500g is designed for 3D printing of parts requiring high flexibility, wear resistance, and durability under dynamic loads. The material is suitable for manufacturing seals, protective components, damping elements, and parts exposed to repeated deformation. The polymer structure based on ether diol TPU provides very low moisture absorption and high resistance to hydrolysis and microbial degradation.
The production process carried out by Prusa Research includes continuous diameter monitoring and control of mechanical properties and color consistency. Each spool contains assigned production data accessible via a QR code and a programmable NFC tag compliant with the OpenPrintTag standard, enabling material identification without the need for cloud services. The filament maintains flexibility and impact resistance at temperatures down to -50°C and offers high chemical resistance, especially to oils and greases.
The material allows achieving different mechanical characteristics depending on print settings - thin layers provide high flexibility, while increased wall count and higher infill enable printing durable and wear-resistant parts.
