A synchronous step-down converter that reduces input voltage from 18V to 60V to a stable 18V with up to 95% efficiency and 4A output current. It offers low standby current (<0.2mA), soft-start functionality, overcurrent, thermal, and reverse polarity protection. Compact and easy to integrate, it is ideal for microprocessor systems, IoT, and automation. Pololu 5578
The D42V55F18 voltage regulator is a high-performance synchronous buck (step-down) converter designed to step down input voltages up to 60 V to a stable 18 V. It features a low no-load current consumption (<0.2 mA), making it energy-efficient even in standby mode. Its compact dimensions allow installation in space-constrained environments. The D42V55F18 is an ideal solution for microprocessor systems, IoT devices, automation, and hobby projects where stable 18 V power with high efficiency and operational safety is required.

Thanks to the use of switching technology (SMPS, DC-DC), the converter achieves significantly higher efficiency (up to 95%) compared to traditional linear regulators, minimizing energy losses and heat generation. This model can supply a continuous output current of 2.5 A to 6 A at lower input voltages, ensuring stable power even for demanding circuits. The unit is equipped with reverse voltage protection, overcurrent protection, and thermal shutdown, ensuring high reliability under harsh operating conditions. The soft-start function limits inrush current and gradually increases voltage during startup, protecting connected devices.
The converter offers a set of pins enabling flexible integration with the power system. VOUT provides a regulated 18 V output, while GND serves as the common reference (ground). VIN is used to supply the input voltage, with the minimum operating voltage depending on the output voltage and dropout. The VRP pin outputs the input voltage after reverse-voltage protection and can serve as an output for powering other devices or as an alternative input bypassing the protection. Additionally, the PG (Power Good) pin is an open-drain output indicating proper output voltage, and the EN pin allows enabling or disabling the converter, including in low-power mode.

This compact (0.4″ × 0.5″) switching step-down (or buck) voltage regulator takes input voltages up to 50 V and efficiently reduces them to 15 V while allowing for a maximum output current of 600 mA. It has a very low dropout, so it can be used with input voltages that are within a few hundred millivolts of its output.
This compact (0.4″ × 0.5″) switching step-down (or buck) voltage regulator takes input voltages between 4 V and 50 V and efficiently reduces them to a lower, user-adjustable voltage set by an on-board trimmer potentiometer. It has an output voltage range of 2.5 V to 7.5 V and a maximum output current of 600 mA.
