Description

Discovery kit based on STM32G431CB microcontroller, L6387 controller and STL180N6F7 MOSFET power transistors. It consists of a main power board and an ST-LINK/V2-1 embedded programmer/debugger board. It acts as an electronic speed controller (ESC) and is designed to drive a 3-phase brushless motor (BLDC/PMSM), implementing both the sensorless FOC and 6-step algorithm.

ST's sensorless FOC algorithm ensures optimal dynamics. The module accepts a control signal from an external control and monitoring device. It is equipped with several communication interfaces (UART, CAN, PWM channel), while a potentiometer and user button are available for user applications. A BEC circuit is located on the board, and an overcurrent/overvoltage and thermal protection circuit is embedded on the main board. The dimensions of the circuit make it suitable for small and very lightweight R/C vehicles (FPV racing drones), and the current capacity of the motor meets the power requirements of large vehicles.
