Adapter for WS2811 LED strips designed for Teensy 3.2, 3.5, 3.6 and 4.1. It is equipped with a 74HCT245 buffering system and 100 Ω impedance matching resistors. To connect the module with RGB LED strips, RJ45 connectors and CAT6 Ethernet cable are used, which ensures very high signal quality. The manufacturer has prepared the OctoWS2811 library to operate the LED strips with the adapter.
This adaptor can also be used with the larger Teensy 3.5, 3.6, 4.1 boards using double insulator pins and sockets. Together, these are tall enough to allow the longer board with SD socket to overhang the RJ-45 connectors.
