The module with the MCP9600 amplifier designed to work with the thermocouple type K, J, T, N, S, E, B and R connected through a screw connection. The system enables temperature measurement in a wide temperature range (the range depends on the thermocouple used) with an accuracy of 1.5°C. The MCP9600 has a built-in temperature compensation function and the ability to configure 4 temperature thresholds to trigger an alarm, so that the user does not have to read the temperature from the sensor continuously. It communicates via the I2C bus and is supplied with the voltage from 3 to 5 V. The documentation with the library and examples in Python is available in the GitHub repository.
