The Brymen BM257s is designed for electronics, electrical engineering, industrial automation, and electrical installation servicing. Description

The Brymen BM257s digital multimeter is designed for measuring voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, frequency, and temperature in electronics, industrial maintenance, laboratory, and electrical installation applications. Its True RMS measurement system ensures accurate readings for both sinusoidal and distorted waveforms, while the AutoCheck function automatically detects AC voltage, DC voltage, and resistance using LoZ input impedance to eliminate ghost voltages (Ghost Voltage Buster). The instrument measures voltages up to 1000 V AC/DC, AC line frequency, and logic-level frequencies, and also features EF (NCV) non-contact and single-probe voltage detection. Temperature measurement is supported using a Type-K thermocouple with selectable °C and °F units.

The BM257s features a 6000-count LCD with backlight and a 40-segment analog bar graph for fast indication of changing signals. Data Hold, MAX/MIN, CREST (Peak Hold), and automatic/manual ranging simplify measurement and analysis. The multimeter also includes a fast audible continuity test, diode test, Beep-Jack incorrect input warning, intelligent Auto Power Off, and optional RS232C/USB PC interface for data recording. A rugged housing with a replaceable protective holster, 6 kV transient protection, and compliance with EN61010-1, EN61010-2-030, EN61010-2-033, and EN61326-1:2013 ensure reliable operation and enhanced user safety.
