The RMC20452T radio module is designed for use with Raspberry Pi microcontrollers such as the RP2040 and RP2350. Based on the Infineon CYW43439 chip, it supports Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) in the 2.4 GHz band and Bluetooth 5.2 (Classic and Low Energy). The integrated single 2.4 GHz antenna supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in a SISO configuration, simplifying device design.
The module is fully module-certified, facilitating compliance with radio regulations. It communicates using a low-overhead gSPI interface and provides three host-controlled GPIO lines. Integrated PA and LNA amplifiers increase transmission range and reliability. The RMC20452T features low power consumption, making it suitable for energy-efficient IoT applications and embedded systems.
