Description

Arduino MKR Vidor 4000 is a richly equipped development board that combines the SAMD21 microcontroller and the Intel Cyclone 10CL016 FPGA chip. It is equipped with 8 MB SRAM memory, 2 MB QSPI Flash memory, Micro HDMI connector, MIPI camera connector as well as WiFi and BLE (U-BLOX NINA system). It also includes a classic MKR interface on which all pins are connected to both SAMD21 and FPGA. In addition, the board has a Mini PCI Express connector with up to 25 programmable pins.

The FPGA chip contains 16K logic elements, 504 KB of built-in RAM and 56 18x18 bit HW multipliers for fast DSP. Each pin can switch with a frequency of over 150 MHz and can be configured for functions such as UART, (Q) SPI, PWM, encoder function, I2C, I2S, Sigma Delta DAC etc. The built-in FPGA chip can also be used for fast operations DSP for audio and video processing.
