Kitronik 5693 is a compact expansion board for the BBC micro:bit, enabling control of 4 DC motors, 2 stepper motors, and 8 servos. With I²C support and 17 I/O pins, it serves as a central module in robotics and educational projects, providing stable power supply and wide functionality.
The Kitronik Compact Robotics Board allows the BBC micro:bit module to be used as a controller for robotics projects. It includes two H-bridge driver ICs enabling control of 4 DC motors (or 2 stepper motors) and an I²C driver IC with 8 outputs for servos. Additionally, it provides 17 I/O pins for connecting sensors and other peripheral devices, including I²C interface support. Power is supplied via a screw terminal or servo connector and distributed to all system components, as well as to the connected micro:bit, eliminating the need for separate power. The board is equipped with a power switch and an LED indicator. Its compact size makes it ideal for mobile robots and educational systems.
