The TMC5130A-BOB board is a development module featuring the TMC5130A-TA chip, enabling control of a single two-phase stepper motor in positioning or velocity mode. The integrated motion controller and driver provide precise microstepping up to 256 microsteps per step and support for ABN encoders. Communication with the board is possible via SPI or Step/Dir interfaces. The chip supports advanced operation modes such as SixPoint Ramp, SpreadCycle, and StealthChop for quiet operation. It supports a supply voltage range of 4.75 V to 46 V and a maximum output current of 1.2 A RMS. This board facilitates rapid prototyping in industrial automation, CNC systems, robotics, and other applications requiring precise motor control.
