Description
Pololu 5346 is used to control bipolar stepper motors in applications that require current control and microstepping. The module is based on the A5984 driver from Allegro MicroSystems and supports operation with 5V or 3.3V logic levels. The driver supports full-step, half-step, and microstepping modes up to 1/16, with motor current adjustment performed via an onboard potentiometer. The carrier-style form factor allows easy integration with breadboards, prototyping systems, and microcontroller-based controllers.
Motor power is supplied from a separate voltage source, independent of the logic supply. When operating at higher output currents, appropriate heat dissipation is recommended.
