ATXMEGAA3BU-XPLD is a compact development board featuring the ATxmega256A3BU microcontroller, equipped with analog interfaces, an LCD display, and SPI memory. It is ideal for prototyping measurement applications, user interfaces, and embedded systems requiring touch control and debugging.
The ATXMEGAA3BU-XPLD is an evaluation board designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the Atmel (now Microchip) ATxmega256A3BU microcontroller. The platform features an AVR XMEGA MCU with 256 KB of Flash memory, equipped with both analog and digital interfaces, and includes an FSTN LCD display with a resolution of 128×32 pixels. It also integrates analog sensors for temperature and ambient light, an analog filter, and a QTouch® capacitive touch button.
Programming is possible via USB using the built-in bootloader, while debugging is supported through the PDI interface. The board is compatible with AVR JTAGICE mkII, JTAGICE 3, AVR ONE, and STK600. It includes expansion headers, onboard DataFlash AT45DB642D, and optional footprints for external SPI memory devices.
