The book from the practical side introduces issues related to communication between devices equipped with serial interfaces RS232 and its derivatives. The examples of applications presented in the book have been developed for AVR microcontrollers (Bascom AVR) and PC class computers (using Visual Basic Express 2008), while the way of preparing examples will allow to easily implement them on any other hardware platforms.
