An expansion module intended for projects related to home automation, included with the Raspberry Pi Pico W board. It is equipped with a relay with a maximum switched current of up to 2 A, which can work with devices powered by a voltage of up to 40 V. In addition, the user has two buffer inputs at their disposal. , two sink outputs and three analog inputs with an operating range of up to 40 V. The analog inputs are operated by a 12-bit ADC converter, and the sink outputs can provide a current of up to 4 A. All inputs and outputs are connected to screw connectors. Additionally, the user has a Qwiic/Stemma QT connector with an I2C interface enabling the connection of sensors and communication with external modules.
The set is controlled by a board with an RP2040 microcontroller equipped with two ARM Cortex-M0+ cores operating at 133 MHz, 264 kB RAM and 2 MB of external QSPI flash memory. Additionally, the board is equipped with the Infineon CYW43439 chip, which extends the board with wireless connectivity. The product page includes a dedicated library in Python and C++ and a guide to help you start working with the board.
