Description

Complete measuring system for PHM / SHM applications equipped with an energy-saving microprocessor system based on the MPU from the i.MX6ULL family (NXP, Cortex-A7 @ 800MHz). The integrated computing unit, by means of a selection algorithm, performs "on-site" and "on-the-fly" analysis and selection of data collected from integrated sensors.

Compared to the systems available on the market, the proposed solution simplifies the architecture of the PHM / SHM diagnostic system and its operation, reduces the cost of the installation, reduces the amount of work necessary to analyze the results, and allows for convenient real-time monitoring of changes taking place in the monitored structure / device.

The device uses wireless communication and an optional Ethernet cable interface to transfer data from the measurement point to a supervisory SCADA system. The obtained transmission efficiency in an industrial environment is not less than 12% of the recorded samples, in accordance with the Shannon criterion.

The measurement system is delivered with system software (based on Yocto) and API documentation made available for superior SCADA or use in browser applications.
