HC-08 is a module operating in the Bluetooth Low Energy 4.0 standard. The system has a built-in antenna and small dimensions, and thanks to edge joints it can be surface soldered. The module is configured via AT commands, while during transmission, the module is "transparent" for the transmitted data (transparent mode).
