About the book

"Understanding small microcontrollers" is a book presenting issues related to microcontrollers at the basic level. The author, using the universal microcontroller model, explains all the concepts necessary to understand the principles of its operation, and giving examples refers to one of the "classic" architectures - Motorola HC05 microcontrollers.

The first chapters of the book introduce the reader (also not very experienced in digital technology) to the basic issues necessary to understand and skilful use of basic concepts found in microprocessor technology, in subsequent - based on simple examples - the author explains how the elementary peripheral blocks used in microcontrollers and presents their simple applications. The list of orders controlling the operation of the microcontroller as well as the manner of their execution by the central unit are also discussed in detail.

The book is intended for all beginner electronics in microprocessor technology, especially students and students of technical university.
