OV9281 1MP Mono USB Camera (A) is a compact and high-performance USB camera designed for applications requiring high frame rates and precise motion capture. Equipped with a 1-megapixel OV9281 image sensor featuring a global shutter, it completely eliminates the “rolling shutter” effect, delivering sharp and distortion-free images even when capturing fast-moving objects. The camera supports video recording at up to 120 frames per second (FPS) at a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, making it ideal for industrial, research, robotics, machine vision, and AI-based systems.
Featuring an M12 lens with a 120° field of view, the camera offers a wide observation range with minimal distortion (<10%). The fixed-focus lens (1.65 mm focal length, F2.2 aperture) ensures clear imaging under various lighting conditions. The device uses a USB 2.0 Type-C interface for easy connection to computers or microcontrollers, with no additional drivers required. Supporting MJPG and YVY2 video formats, it can be seamlessly integrated into real-time image acquisition systems. Since the OV9281 module does not include an infrared filter (IR-cut), it is particularly well-suited for environments with controlled lighting or applications involving infrared detection.
The camera delivers excellent image quality thanks to its high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR 46 dB) and wide dynamic range (52 dB), ensuring stable, crisp imaging even under rapidly changing light conditions.
