OAK-D-IoT-40 is a set of cameras designed for projects related to artificial intelligence in the IoT area. The module contains three built-in cameras (two 720P and one 12 MP) with a stereo depth of 7.5 cm, which can be configured using the USB interface via the Type-C connector. It can be used completely alone or via USB with a host. It combines hardware, firmware and the DepthAI software suite, making it applicable to areas such as object detection and tracking and neural networks. It has a built-in IMU BNO085 sensor which is supported by the DepthAI API. Additionally, it includes a 128 MB NOR Flash memory and boot switch function, so it can be booted via USB or set to boot from NOR-flash to communicate with the onboard ESP32 via SPI. A dedicated API for Python is used for support. Full documentation is available on the project website.
