DFRobot SEN0634 camera module with OV9281 sensor and global shutter allows capturing sharp images of fast-moving objects. High sensitivity in low-light conditions and full compatibility with Raspberry Pi 4B and 5 make it a suitable solution for projects requiring precise motion recognition and real-time image detection.
The DFRobot SEN0634 camera module based on the OV9281 black-and-white sensor with global shutter technology enables the capture of dynamic scenes without the distortions characteristic of rolling shutter. By exposing all pixels simultaneously, it records sharp images even during fast movements, such as rotating fan blades. The resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels and pixel size of 3 µm × 3 µm allow effective operation even in low-light conditions, such as night monitoring or indoor applications. The lens with a focal length of 2.85 mm, aperture f/2.0, and integrated IR filter provides good image quality regardless of lighting conditions. The module is fully compatible with Raspberry Pi 4B and Raspberry Pi 5 – the set includes two FPC cables that enable quick and direct connection via the MIPI-CSI-2Lane interface.
