Pirate-4WD Mobile Platform DFRobot (ROB0003)

The robot platform Pirate-4WD is a set that allows the construction of a robot chassis with 4-wheel drive. It was designed as a base for the Romeo All-in-one compatible with Arduino, but you can use the Arduino modules successfully (you need the so-called Motor Shield, a motor control module). Depending on the number of motor controllers and their current efficiency, each wheel drive can be controlled independently or connected in parallel, separately for the left and right side of the robot.

• holes and fastening elements in the chassis, enabling the assembly of the modeling servo and various sensors.

Kit contents

The set includes:

• 4 wheels with tires (diameter approx. 65 mm),
• 4 motors integrated with transmission modules,
• basket for 5 AA batteries,
• power supply connector and heel switch,
• cut and ready to assemble sheet metal and aluminum chassis profiles,
• screws, nuts, washers needed for mounting the chassis,
• brackets for sensor mounting,
• distance sleeves,
• 2-wire cable, eg for connecting motors,
• illustrated assembly instructions (descriptions in English).
