The KAmodRPi5 PCIe-M.2 adapter is a solution that allows you to seamlessly connect an NVME SSD with an M.2 M-KEY connector to a Raspberry Pi 5 computer. Thanks to its universal design, the adapter allows you to install drives of the popular size 2280, as well as smaller variants : 2260, 2242 and 2230. It is designed to occupy the standard space intended for HAT expansion modules, but at the same time does not limit the possibility of using a heat sink with a fan dedicated to Raspberry Pi 5. The adapter is easy to install on Raspberry Pi 5 and can be connected with it via a 40-pin GPIO connector and an FFC 16/0.5 tape (it is also possible to connect only using the FFC tape). The adapter draws power directly from the Raspberry Pi 5 computer, therefore it is recommended to use a power supply for Raspberry Pi 5 with an appropriate power of at least 5.1 V and 3 A. LED indicators indicating correct power supply and disk activity allow the user to monitor the operating status.

The KAmod RPI 485&CAN Hat module extends the functionality of Raspberry Pi 5 boards (and others with a 3.3 V SPI interface) with two galvanically isolated RS485 interfaces and one CAN 2.0B interface. The RS485 interfaces are based on the SC16IS752 controller, and the CAN interface on the MCP2515 system. The isolated transceivers used (ADM2483 and TJA1052) increase resistance to interference. Communication takes place via two SPI interfaces, and additional power supply options (from RPi or external 8-32 V) and a stabilized 5 V output allow for flexibility in power supply.
