Description

The USB - RS232/RS485 Converter based on the FT4232HL chip provides fast communication, stability, and excellent compatibility. The device converts USB signals to 2 channels of isolated RS232/485 and 2 channels of isolated RS232. Built-in power isolation ensures stable voltage without the need for additional power supply for isolated terminals. Digital isolation guarantees signal reliability, strong resistance to interference, and minimal energy consumption. The built-in TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) effectively reduces voltage surges and transients, providing protection against lightning and ESD. Additionally, fuses and protective diodes safeguard against overloads and surges, enhancing shock resistance. The RS485 interface includes a built-in 120R terminal resistor that can be easily enabled or disabled using a jumper. The converter is also equipped with 9 LED indicators showing power and transceiver status. Its sturdy industrial metal housing allows for wall or rail mounting, is aesthetically pleasing, easy to install, and perfectly suited for industrial and commercial applications.
