The MP1541DJ-LF-Z from Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) is a compact current-mode boost (step-up) DC-DC converter optimized for space-constrained and low-power applications. Operating at a fixed frequency of 1.3 MHz, it allows the use of low-profile passive components (≤2 mm). The device supports input voltages as low as 2.5 V and can generate up to 22 V output. From a 5 V source, it can deliver 12 V at 300 mA.
The converter integrates a power MOSFET, internal compensation, soft-start functionality, and essential protections including UVLO, current limit, and thermal shutdown. Available in a space-saving TSOT23-5 package, it is ideal for portable electronics and display applications.
The XL4015E1 converter is a step-down (buck) circuit that converts an input voltage of 8-36V to a regulated output of 1.25-32V, with a maximum current of up to 5A. It is characterized by high efficiency (up to 96%) and protection against short circuit and overheating, although it does not have protection against reverse polarity of the power supply.
