Dual MAX14870 Motor Driver is a compact dual driver DC motors compatible with Raspberry PI. It allows you to control two DC motors with a voltage between 4.5 ... 36 V. The expansion board features two MAX14870 H-bridge motor driver ICs from Maxim, which allow it to operate from 4.5 V to 36 V and make it well suited for driving small motors across a wide range of voltages. The board has protection against reverse power connection. It is possible to power the Raspberry Pi plate from a common power source with motors through an additional converter (not included).
The module has been designed for new Raspberry minicomputers in versions with a 40-pin connector: Model B+, Model A+, Raspberry Pi 2 Model B, Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, Raspberry Pi 3 model A+ and Raspberry Pi 3 model B+
