ESP32-WROVER-B is a WiFi-BT-BLE MCU module that is designed for a wide range of applications ranging from low-power sensor networks to the most demanding tasks, such as voice coding, streaming music and MP3 decoding. The ESP32-WROVER-B is equipped with a 4-MB external Flash SPI memory and an additional 8-bit SPI RAM memory (PSRAM).
The Bluetooth integration, Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi provides the possibility of using in a wide range of applications, and the module is versatile. The ESP32 current consumption is less than 5 μA, making it suitable for battery-powered devices. The module supports data transfer rates up to 150 Mb / s, and the 20 dBm output power in the antenna provides a good range. The operating system chosen for ESP32 is freeRTOS with LwIP; TLS 1.2 protocol with hardware acceleration. A secure (encrypted) OTA update is also supported, allowing users to update their products even after their release, with minimal costs and effort.
