Description
The NRF24L01+ module is a popular radio communication chip that operates in the 2.4 GHz ISM band. It is used in a variety of applications such as wireless sensors, remote control, wireless networks and many others. It offers a variety of data rates, including 250 kbps, 1 Mbps and 2 Mbps, allowing transmission speeds to be tailored to specific application requirements.
One of the most important features of the NRF24L01+ is its very low power consumption. In transmit (TX) mode with an output power of 0 dBm, it consumes only 11.3 mA, and in receive (RX) mode with a data rate of 2 Mbps, the power consumption is 13.5 mA. This makes it ideal for applications that require low power consumption, such as battery applications.
The module uses the Enhanced ShockBurst protocol, which provides automatic packet handling, meaning you don't have to worry about manually managing data packets. It communicates via SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) with the microcontroller or other devices. This makes it easy to connect the module to different platforms. The board is equipped with a PCB antenna and a u.FL connector, which allows an external antenna connection if a longer range is required. The module offers a range of up to 1,000m, making it a suitable solution for applications requiring long-distance communication.
