Description

Waveshare 33175 is a development kit designed for designing, testing and prototyping embedded systems and edge AI applications, based on the Jetson Orin Nano 4GB module. The kit uses the JETSON-ORIN-IO-BASE-B base board, which provides access to a wide range of communication, vision and multimedia interfaces, enabling integration with peripheral devices, CSI cameras and wired and wireless networks.

The Jetson Orin Nano module used offers AI computing performance based on the NVIDIA Ampere GPU architecture with Tensor Cores, enabling the implementation of artificial intelligence algorithms, image analysis and real-time data processing in projects with moderate hardware requirements. The kit is supplied as a DEV KIT, including a 256 GB NVMe drive, dual-band WiFi wireless network card with Bluetooth 5.0, active cooling and a set of accessories enabling quick platform startup.

The solution is designed for applications such as vision systems, image and video analysis, educational robotics, industrial automation, edge computing and prototyping devices using artificial intelligence algorithms.

The base board provides a total of 7 USB ports, including 4 USB Type-A connectors, 1 USB Type-C port and 2 USB 2.0 connectors in FFC ribbon form, enabling connection of multiple peripheral devices.

High-speed data transfer up to 10 Gb/s via USB 3.2 Gen 2 and system programming using the Type-C port.

The base board allows connection of two CSI cameras, expanding the system with vision interfaces used in AI applications.

The kit supports high-resolution 4K video output using the DisplayPort interface.

This enables connection of an external monitor and work with graphical applications, data visualization and vision systems.

This enables smooth execution of machine learning models and neural networks in edge AI applications with optimized power consumption.
