Ring with 12 individually addressable WS2812B RGB LEDs, allowing independent control of the color and brightness of each light point. The module operates at 5V and uses a single-wire data interface, while DIN and DOUT allow additional modules to be daisy-chained. The outer diameter of the ring is 44mm. Soldered 333070
The device Smart LED WS2812B Ring12 by Soldered features 12 individually addressable WS2812B RGB LEDs arranged on a circular board. Each LED integrates three RGB channels and a controller, allowing the color and brightness of each light point to be controlled independently. The ring can be used in indicators, status displays, user interfaces, and circuits generating animations and dynamic lighting effects.
Control is handled through a single-wire data interface. The DIN pin receives data from the microcontroller, while DOUT forwards data to the next LED or module, allowing multiple WS2812B devices to be daisy-chained. Each LED receives 24-bit color data, with 8 bits assigned to each red, green, and blue channel.
The module requires a 5V power supply. The manufacturer specifies current consumption of up to 60mA per LED at full white brightness, corresponding to a theoretical maximum of approximately 720mA for all 12 LEDs. Actual current consumption depends on the selected colors and brightness levels, so the power supply should be selected according to the expected operating conditions.
The ring has an outer diameter of 44mm, while each WS2812B LED measures 5 × 5mm. The manufacturer provides an Arduino library based on the Adafruit NeoPixel library, along with documentation covering color control, brightness adjustment, and lighting effects.
Single individually addressable WS2812B RGB LED in a 5050 package, mounted on a circular 10mm diameter board. Color is controlled digitally through a single signal line, while the operating voltage is 5V. The manufacturer specifies a maximum current consumption of 60mA per pixel. Soldered 333054
