LED ring featuring 24 addressable WS2812B RGB LEDs with independent color and brightness control for each LED. A single data line controls the ring, while the data output allows additional compatible modules to be connected. The ring has a 67mm outer diameter, operates from a 5V supply and can be used for lighting animations and status indicators. Soldered 333101
The device WS2812B Ring24 from Soldered is an LED ring featuring 24 addressable WS2812B RGB LEDs arranged around a circular PCB. Each LED contains an integrated driver that allows its color and brightness to be set independently. With 8-bit control per color channel, the ring can display over 16 million colors and produce animations, color transitions and visual indicators.
The entire ring is controlled through a single data line connected to the DIN input. Data is transmitted serially using the WS2812B protocol, so only one microcontroller signal pin is needed to control all the LEDs. The DOUT output passes data to another compatible LED ring, strip or module. Connected devices can form a chain controlled through the same data line.
The module operates from a 5V supply and has an outer diameter of 67mm. Its circular LED arrangement can be used for progress indicators, status lights, backlighting and decorative effects. The manufacturer provides an Arduino library with examples and a MicroPython module for controlling the LEDs.
Single individually addressable WS2812B RGB LED in a 5050 package, mounted on a circular 10mm diameter board. Color is controlled digitally through a single signal line, while the operating voltage is 5V. The manufacturer specifies a maximum current consumption of 60mA per pixel. Soldered 333054
