CoreS3 is the third generation of the M5Stack Core series, utilizing the ESP32-S3 module. The kit is equipped with a dual-core Xtensa LX7 processor running at 240MHz. It has a built-in Wi-Fi function for smooth network connection and features 16 MB flash memory and 8 MB PSRAM, providing sufficient space for program storage.
The module offers convenient programming options with a USB Type-C interface, supporting OTG and CDC functions. This allows easy connection to external USB devices and seamless software updates. CoreS3 is equipped with a 2-inch capacitive IPS touch screen, protected by high-strength glass. Additionally, integrated at the bottom of the screen is a 30 MP GC0308 camera, along with an LTR-553ALS-WA proximity sensor. Power management is handled by the AXP2101 chip, utilizing a 4-stage power flow control loop for efficient energy management. CoreS3 also utilizes a 6-axis BMI270 position sensor and BMM150 magnetometer for precise motion detection. With a built-in microSD card and BM8563 RTC, accurate timing and wake-up functions are available.

Sound on CoreS3 is optimized with a high-quality 16-bit I2S power amplifier AW88298, along with a built-in 1W speaker. The kit utilizes the ES7210 audio decoding chip and dual microphone input. On the side of the device, there is an independent power button and reset button (RST), supplemented by a built-in delay circuit. By long-pressing the reset button, users can easily enter the program download mode. The CoreS3 kit comes with a DinBase baseboard, providing convenient DIN rail mounting options. It can be powered by an external 12V DC power source (supports 9 to 24V) or an internal 500mAh lithium battery. DinBase also offers many prototyping spaces, allowing users to customize and expand their projects. CoreS3 is an ideal choice for IoT development, various DIY projects, smart home control systems, and industrial automation systems.
