Description
Pololu DC motor equipped with a 15,25:1 metal gear ratio. The motor is designed for 6 V power supply and generates a torque of 0.25 kg * cm. The current consumed by the loaded motor is about 100 mA, while the maximum current consumed under load is 1500 mA. In this set, the manufacturer used the HPCB series engine, which means that it is equipped with carbon brushes. It is a much more durable solution than the brushes made of metal plates used so far. The transmission has a D-shaped output shaft with a diameter of 3 mm, which simplifies the installation of the further part of the drive system.
