Description

The VisionSOM-V2L modules are a family of compact System on Modules (SoM) in a SODIMM format, based on the dual-core Renesas RZ/V2L processor, equipped with an advanced DRP-AI coprocessor that supports machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI). The VisionSOM-V2L offers energy-efficient and high-performance ARM Cortex-A55 cores (up to 1.2 GHz) and ARM Cortex-M33 (up to 200 MHz), as well as a 3D graphics processor (ARM Mali-G31 GPU @500 MHz) supporting OpenGL 3.2ES/OpenCL 2.0 and a video codec processor (VCP) capable of processing 1920x1080 images at 30 frames per second.

The VisionSOM-V2L is a highly integrated module designed for multimedia and video applications, offering 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth v5.1. The integrated, fully certified communication module simplifies baseboard design and is an ideal solution for wireless applications. The module is available in various memory configurations, including 1 GB of high-speed DDR4 memory and eMMC Flash storage, tailored to users' needs.

The SoM supports a wide range of interfaces, including two USB 2.0 ports, 1Gbit Ethernet, audio, MIPI-DSI output with optional touchscreen support, MIPI-CSI camera input, and communication interfaces such as 2xCAN. The module also supports industrial environments, offering high reliability and functionality.
