Crowtail-Sound Sensor 2.0 is an analog sound sensor with a built-in amplifier, intended for measuring sound intensity levels. Ideal for interactive projects, sound-responsive systems and acoustic monitoring.
Crowtail-Sound Sensor 2.0 is an analog sound-intensity sensor that enables detection of ambient loudness. The module, based on an electret microphone, is enhanced with a band-pass filter and an LMV358 operational amplifier, ensuring the output signal has appropriate gain and can be directly read by the analog inputs of a microcontroller. A built-in potentiometer allows manual adjustment of the output voltage level. The sensor can be used to activate sound-responsive systems such as interactive installations, alarms or acoustic recorders.
