The LilyPad series module is designed for prototyping interactive e-textiles. It consists of a board with a SAMD11 microcontroller and a CR2032 battery socket, LEDs, a light sensor and a button. LilyMini ProtoSnap comes with a factory programmed microcontroller that uses all the components connected to it. The program used has three modes that can be selected by pressing the LilyPad button in the lower left corner of ProtoSnap. The built-in RGB LED on the LilyMini will change color to indicate which mode has been selected:
The module is divided into 7 tiles, which are connected after being taken out of the box. This allows you to quickly test the prototype of the device, which, after dividing into smaller modules, can be transferred and sewn into the garment. Each tile has dedicated holes for easy installation. The instructions for use and an example of use are available in the guide.
