Description
Electro-Fashion Light Level Detector is a light sensor that allows the activation of other components based on current lighting conditions. The device responds to changes in light intensity, providing a corresponding output voltage through the OUT pin – from 0.9 V in low light conditions to 2.9 V in bright light. The sensor enables projects that react to the day-night cycle, such as automatic lighting in interactive clothing or information systems in e-textiles.
The device is easy to integrate with other modules from the Electro-Fashion series, such as Igloo or PICAXE, as well as any e-textile projects. Large, clearly marked connection points allow for quick and secure sewing with conductive thread. The sensor enables the development of creative and interactive educational and design projects, adjusting device responses to ambient light levels. It is compact, lightweight, and easy to use, making it an ideal addition to any electronically controlled clothing or accessories.
