Description

Audio playback module that includes the VS1000D audio codec chip to decode Ogg Vorbis and WAV files. Little Soundie makes it easy to add sound effects to your project thanks to the built-in SPI Flash memory (seen by the computer as a USB mass storage device) and the easy launch of audio playback. Configuration is extremely easy - just connect the module to the computer, format the USB drive and copy the .ogg or .wav files. The board has a Power / Play button that turns on the power and turns on the player, and two connectors for selecting the sound number and configuring the VS1000D system via the UART interface. The module is connected to the computer via the USB connector, and the speakers via the audio Jack connector. The player can be powered with the voltage from 3.3 to 5.5 V, but it works only with systems with a voltage of 3.3 V. Full documentation and examples of use are available on the product page.
