PCIe FFC adapter Waveshare (version C) for Raspberry Pi 5 enables the expansion of Pi 5-based systems with full-size PCIe devices. Thanks to compatibility with multiple PCIe standards and the option to connect external 12 V power, it offers a flexible solution for advanced projects requiring integration of expansion cards. Ideal for building custom routers, NAS systems, industrial controllers, and test setups.
The PCIe FFC to standard PCIe x1 adapter board (version C) allows connection of PCIe x1, x4, x8, and x16 expansion cards to the Raspberry Pi 5 via the 16-pin PCIe connector. It ensures compatibility with a wide range of PCIe peripheral devices such as controllers, network cards, and SSD interfaces.
The adapter features a standard PCIe x1 socket and optional 12 V power supply via a DC jack or 2-pin screw terminal (12 V header). The external power supplies only the 12 V line of the PCIe socket – 5 V and 3.3 V lines are not powered externally.
The set includes a transparent acrylic mounting plate and a 50 mm PCIe FFC cable, allowing for stable integration with enclosures or prototype structures.
