Programmable laboratory power supply module utilizing STEP-DOWN converter technology and STM32 control for precise voltage and output current regulation. The construction supports DC 9–36 V input, 0.5–30 V / 0–5 A output, and I2C communication, enabling the creation of regulated power systems for electronics, automation, and embedded projects.
The M5Stack Module13.2 PPS programmable power supply module is designed for building adjustable power sources for electronics, embedded systems, industrial automation, and laboratory applications requiring precise voltage and current regulation. The construction utilizing a STEP-DOWN converter and STM32G030F6P6 microcontroller supports DC 9–36 V input voltage and adjustable 0.5–30 V / 0–5 A output with rated power of 100 W and peak power up to 150 W. The AD8418 current amplifier and closed-loop control system enable accurate output parameter readback with ±30 mV and ±5 mA accuracy, while factory full-range calibration increases operational stability during testing and powering electronic circuits.
The module features an I2C interface enabling power parameter control from M5Stack Core, Core2, and CoreS3 platforms. Integrated CA-IS3020S and B0505S-1WR3 isolation chips provide electrical isolation for communication and power buses, increasing operational safety for control systems. Standard 4 mm banana sockets with 19 mm spacing allow convenient connection of laboratory leads and test equipment. The module is suitable for building adjustable laboratory power supplies, automation projects, research experiments, embedded system development, and DIY projects requiring a programmable power source.
Note!
The module requires an external DC 9–36 V power supply — without a connected power source, the device will not be detected on the I2C bus and will not operate.
